What if God showed up on your doorstep dressed as the poor?

What if God showed up on your doorstep dressed as the poor?

The Bible states we entertain angels unsuspectingly, (Hebrews 13:2) These messengers are around us all the while. My focus of interest is, would we make out Jesus if He arrived at your doorway unannounced or maybe sitting in a playground beside you?  You might not distinguish what Jesus would appear like or regardless of whether He would appear rich or poor! Would you be prepared to welcome Jesus  into your home in the present day? would you? Would you be familiar with Jesus at what time He calls to you? The Bible affirms that if we belong to Jesus, we have the sense of hearing his voice, and we pursue him. In fact, Numerous thousand years ago Abraham recognized Jesus. This was before Jesus came on the world scene as a infant. The Holy scripture teaches that Jesus is The lord. Both the old and new testament explain these facts. Nobody can restrain him, for the reason that the universe was created for Him and by Him as the Bible says in (Colossians chapter 1).

In the time he existed, Abraham lived life not like we do in the present day. In the Word he is called "the father of all those who believed." In Genesis Chapter 18 The Lord appears to Abraham, with two angels. And once Abraham recognized he was peering at Jesus, he stood up and ran over to Him. Can you imagine that? Imagine the wonder he must have felt getting together with The Creator face to face, the One you loved and only dreamed of coming accross. Someone, in truth, who is familiar with all your that's in your heart. Somebody you revere and elevate. How interesting a moment for Abraham!

Abraham Values The Lord!

Abraham obviously doesn't fancy the idea of God departing from his home with no time spent with Him. He seeks to Honor God by washing his feet and preparing food for The Lord. Abraham yearned for a moment with The Creator. Abraham could not let this chance go by. What would you do if you received the visit?

How would it seem if God went by, with no fellowship. Could it be a indication of the rapport between God and Abraham? I suppose Abraham would have been hurt. I considered the statement Abraham made to Sarah. Where he asks Her to create a meal. It made the whole visit a great deal more real to me, because I could see the entire experience happening. I was thinking, “Wow, Jesus is truly sitting down and breaking bread with Abraham”. I am excited at how fantastic The Lord is that He took the time to demonstrate His care. Before leaving Abraham, God made known to him he would have a son.

Colosians chapter 1:15 informs us, “He (Jesus) is the image of the invisible God”. In John 8:56 Jesus said to the elders of the Jews “Your father Abraham rejoiced at the thought of seeing my day, and he saw it and was glad” verse 57 , Then the Jews said to Him. “You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?” Jesus said to them , “Most assuredly I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.”

The Bible affirms receive the Lord while he still may be found. Jesus shed his innocent blood on the cross to cover settlement for your sins and mine. Know him at this moment and realize that your salvation is assured in Christ Jesus. John 3:16 say “For God so love the world, that He gave his one and only Son, that whoever (anyone) believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
