Thank You - Called to Give Thanks!

Thank You - Called to Give Thanks!

Thank You - Called to Give Thanks!

Retaining a thankful mind-set is not always easy, but it is essential.  The word of God mentions to us in Colossians chapter two to be uplifted and to be of one mind in the faith. By being thankful you open the undisclosed riches of the knowledge of God in your life. This treasure is found in Jesus Christ and making Him The Lord of your life is the secret to keeping it.

Thank You - Called to Give Thanks!

Numerous folks have accepted Jesus as Lord, but battle to reside near to him. What many of us don’t realize is connecting with God is more than assembly with Him once each week. It is acquiring a daily walk along with the Redeemer. We have a tendency to need Godly provision (Spirit food). Praising, prayer, communing, worship, reading God's word and dwelling in his presence. As we carry on in our fellowship with The Creator, amazing lifestyle improvements will ensue within our lives. Self-centeredness, meaninglessness and rage live with us before we came to Christ. However we are transformed by God's grace, love, peace, kindness and sanctuary as we grow in Him.

Being Thankful At all times as well as trusting in God!

Thank You - Called to Give Thanks!

When we disregard The Lord and try our individual way, because of our own wishes. We soon discover that the calm we once had in Christ has gone missing from us. That’s why Jesus in John chapter 15 says, “draw closer to me and I will pull close to you. Since a limb broken off from the vine can do nothing on it’s own.”  As part of God's family, when you have departed from Christ, you are unproductive and can do nothing. We must go to our source of life. He is the only way to heaven. The Mighty King, Jesus Christ. In Him we have shelter and redemption through His blood shed on the cross.  In Him we have peace unlike any other. Jesus is the only one who can save you.  We are to come into his presents with praise and thanks giving. Come to Him and He will give you His peace. Amen

What if God showed up on your doorstep dressed as the poor?

What if God showed up on your doorstep dressed as the poor?

The Bible states we entertain angels unsuspectingly, (Hebrews 13:2) These messengers are around us all the while. My focus of interest is, would we make out Jesus if He arrived at your doorway unannounced or maybe sitting in a playground beside you?  You might not distinguish what Jesus would appear like or regardless of whether He would appear rich or poor! Would you be prepared to welcome Jesus  into your home in the present day? would you? Would you be familiar with Jesus at what time He calls to you? The Bible affirms that if we belong to Jesus, we have the sense of hearing his voice, and we pursue him. In fact, Numerous thousand years ago Abraham recognized Jesus. This was before Jesus came on the world scene as a infant. The Holy scripture teaches that Jesus is The lord. Both the old and new testament explain these facts. Nobody can restrain him, for the reason that the universe was created for Him and by Him as the Bible says in (Colossians chapter 1).

What if God showed up on your doorstep dressed as the poor?

In the time he existed, Abraham lived life not like we do in the present day. In the Word he is called "the father of all those who believed." In Genesis Chapter 18 The Lord appears to Abraham, with two angels. And once Abraham recognized he was peering at Jesus, he stood up and ran over to Him. Can you imagine that? Imagine the wonder he must have felt getting together with The Creator face to face, the One you loved and only dreamed of coming accross. Someone, in truth, who is familiar with all your that's in your heart. Somebody you revere and elevate. How interesting a moment for Abraham!

What if God showed up on your doorstep dressed as the poor?

Abraham Values The Lord!

Abraham obviously doesn't fancy the idea of God departing from his home with no time spent with Him. He seeks to Honor God by washing his feet and preparing food for The Lord. Abraham yearned for a moment with The Creator. Abraham could not let this chance go by. What would you do if you received the visit?

How would it seem if God went by, with no fellowship. Could it be a indication of the rapport between God and Abraham? I suppose Abraham would have been hurt. I considered the statement Abraham made to Sarah. Where he asks Her to create a meal. It made the whole visit a great deal more real to me, because I could see the entire experience happening. I was thinking, “Wow, Jesus is truly sitting down and breaking bread with Abraham”. I am excited at how fantastic The Lord is that He took the time to demonstrate His care. Before leaving Abraham, God made known to him he would have a son.

What if God showed up on your doorstep dressed as the poor?

Colosians chapter 1:15 informs us, “He (Jesus) is the image of the invisible God”. In John 8:56 Jesus said to the elders of the Jews “Your father Abraham rejoiced at the thought of seeing my day, and he saw it and was glad” verse 57 , Then the Jews said to Him. “You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?” Jesus said to them , “Most assuredly I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.”

What if God showed up on your doorstep dressed as the poor?

The Bible affirms receive the Lord while he still may be found. Jesus shed his innocent blood on the cross to cover settlement for your sins and mine. Know him at this moment and realize that your salvation is assured in Christ Jesus. John 3:16 say “For God so love the world, that He gave his one and only Son, that whoever (anyone) believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

Who Is Jesus and Is He The Creator?

Who Is Jesus and Is He The Creator?

Who Is Jesus and Is He The Creator?

So Who do you trust? No doubt, there are several who are going to be offended at the name of Jesus. But what does the Bible say about His characteristics and concerning the establishment of the earth. Who is Jesus Truly? Who's God? While growing up we are trained differently concerning God and folks will believe one idea today, and an alternative tomorrow. One thing to consider is, you can find shelter in trusting the Word of God. I have known many who walked away from the Faith since they criticize God for the loss of a family member. It is always difficult losing someone you like, but to hand over ones faith, calls to question if you ever had a real connection with God in the first place. Look at Job for instance. If somebody had a right to be heated at the The king of kings it would be him. He lost his household, his horses, and all he owned, home, he had a curse cast on him. His reaction was not to draw back from God He Drew nearer to his God, he praised and prayed to God. God later enriched Job  by multiplying all Job had lost because Job refused to lose heart but was persistent being devoted  through the pain.

Who Is Jesus and Is He The Creator?

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. So we know God is the creator, nevertheless how does Jesus fit into the foundation of the earth and who was He? The Prophet Isaiah had impressive things to say about Jesus more than a few hundred years ahead of his birth. In Isaiah 9:6 it reads, “For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Is the passage suggesting Jesus is God when it says “Mighty God”? I think so. Am I approaching this from the wrong view? Lets look at another book from the bible. Jesus can also be referred to as “the Word” The term “Word” is capitalized and also verses describe the “Word”  and tell you who he is. John 1:1-5 says, “In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things have been made because of him and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life and the life was the flame of men.” In verse 14 it says, “And the Word became flesh and lived among'st us, and we witnessed his glory, the glory as of One and Only begotten from the Father, filled with grace and truth.” The writing is clear that Jesus is the Word and that He's God. But lets look at another chapter, Colossians 1:15-17. In verse 15 it affirms He (Jesus) is the image of the invisible God (The Father). Verse 16 says He formed all things in heaven and on earth, observable and concealed, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All thing were created through him and for him. And he is before all things, and in him all things consist.”

Who Is Jesus and Is He The Creator?

Jesus is from everlasting to everlasting. He has been in existence from before time was created. Many people think  He only transpired when he was born in the manger. But he traveled from heaven and arrived to earth for a mission to redeem mankind from their sins.

Many hundreds of years before Jesus came in the form of a baby, He appeared in a different Bible narrative in Daniel 3,  Three Hebrew men had been sentenced to die in a fiery oven, for the reason that they refused to bow down to a fake god, Ruler Nebuchadnezzar attentively watched when the men ended up being bound and cast into the furnace. The story says the King was astonished and asked stating, "did we not cast 3 men bound into the center of the fire? Why do I observe 4 men loose in the midst of the fire furthermore an individual looking like the Son from the living God.” All through Bible history, Jesus continues to be visible to us. It’s just a mater of folks analyzing the word of God.

Who Is Jesus and Is He The Creator?

A further instance of Jesus in the old covenant is Genesis chapter 18. Where Abraham bows down to the The king of kings who appears with two angels. The Lord announces to Abraham a son would be born to him. God also reveals to  Abraham His plans to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah. This was also several thousand years prior to the Birth of Jesus Christ. All this points to the uniqueness of Christ.

Mom's Day

Who Is Jesus and Is He The Creator?

Let’s Examine a statement Jesus Gave in John 10: 9-10 so we can better understand him! “Most surely, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. Every single one who ever came before Me are thieves and robbers, however the sheep did not hear them. I'm the gate. If someone enters by Me, he shall be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief doesn't come excepting to steal, and to kill also to destroy. I've come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”

Anne Phillips Honored and Revered

Pasco County Florida Anne Phillips Honored and Revered.

Pasco County Florida's Anne Phillips Honored and Revered.

These lines are meant to Observe  someone on account of their staunch as well as devoted service over the years. Often times we tend to  Honor a person as they do something significant. Nevertheless occasionally we want to stop and take note of moral fiber, reliability, work, feedback and the dedication one display’s day in and day out. Giving honor for excellent character should be an ongoing goings-on after all. It helps spark determination along with growth and we can by no means have too much of it.

Romans 13:7

“Give then to all their due: taxes to who taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to who honor.”

Corporal Anne Phillips Honored and Revered.

So how do you merit, appreciate or recognize someone who has earned admiration? Just in recent times, I had the chance to converse with a good friend, who happens to be a Female Corrections officer and a Corporal working at the Land o’ Lakes Correctional center in Pasco County Florida. Corporal Anne Phillips has worked in Detention for almost 15 years and spent much of that time working in booking. She was promoted to Corporal in 2008.

Mark 10:45

”For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

Pasco County Anne Phillips Faithful Worker.

Anne never mentions her accomplishments no matter if service from work, on the home front  or through her Place of worship. She has in addition functioned on the Sheriff’s Honor Guard for more than a few years. You wouldn’t believe somebody can keep up this kind of a devoted view|approach|outlook|manner} working in a county jail environment, nevertheless she is one in a million. Anne’s drive comes from her husband and 2  children. She has deep honor and respect for God and all He says.

Colossians 3:23-24

23 Anything you do, labor heartily, as for  Jesus and not for men, 24 knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.

Pasco County Florida Anne Phillips Cherished.

Here are several of the things people who work with Anne utter concerning her:  ”She is not afraid to get her hands dirty and work in the trenches.”  ”She has a superior spirit.” “What you see is what you get.” “Continuously serving.” “Great Corporal." “Loving mother.” “Always put’s folks first.” “Always stands for what’s right” “She rotates us fair and square and evenly on the schedule and when you ask for help, she is there whenever she can be. She tries to carry on a optimistic attitude so we can have a good work setting to work in,” Sergeant Hand says in relation to Anne, “She’s Continually trying to please people.”

I have been told “The greatest leaders, are the greatest servants.”  She is a Patriot. A big “Thank you” Corporal Anne Phillips for being a resolute supporter of your troops.
